A Seasonal Feast with Building Feasts! SOLD OUT

It is with great pleasure we are welcoming Building Feasts to The Merchant’s Table for a seasonal feast in May 2019.

Hanna Geller Goldsmith and Jeremy Coleman, friends with a mutual love of food, photography, design, art and basically anything of creative beauty, together run Building Feasts.  They teach classes, run supper clubs and write about and photograph the food they make, encouraging others to cook and create their own colourful gatherings.

For the evening at TMT, Hanna and Jeremy are planning to demo and share a Seasonal Local Feast. Cooking the bounty of beautiful local produce available at this time of year, they will show us how to make a smoked mackerel salad, their favourite asparagus, smoked quinoa with tomatoes and spinach, taramasalata and a selection of the infamous Building Feasts’ Fridge Basics - marinated feta, a vinaigrette and a pickle (all used in the recipes).

Local produce from: High House Fruit Farm; Hodmedods; Maple Farm; Pinneys of Orford; Pump Street

The demo will run for an hour and then everyone will sit down together to eat the meal.

The evening will start with cocktails and nibbles from 7pm before sitting down to the demo, followed by a three course meal of sharing plates and conversation, Building Feasts style. 

Places are strictly limited and priced at £65, to include cocktails and wine.
