The Merchant's Table

Annabel Pearl Live Performance Painting

Annabel Pearl will be painting live in the window of the TMT shop on the following dates:

Saturday the 23rd of March, 11am
Saturday the 6th of April, 11am
Saturday the 20th of April, 11am
Saturday the 4th of May, 11am

The resulting paintings will be sold with 50% going to the artist and 50% of the proceeds donated to Suffolk Mind

Annabel Pearl will be responding to the historic interior, objects and atmosphere of the shop and making ink drawings every other Saturday in the shop, celebrating the details of the unique handmade objects.

At present a common response to the question,‘How are you?’ is ‘Up and not crying’ “In a bid to help me be ‘up and not crying’
“I focus on the details of daily life:spring flowers, hand crafted objects and the atmosphere of a historic building.” Annabel Pearl

Annabel Pearl is an artist, illustrator and writer living and working in Suffolk.

Her PhD at Chelsea College of Art responded to the botanical works of Anna Atkins and culminated in a book called Florilegia published in 2021. The natural world runs through all aspects of her work and she will be making ink drawings at The Merchant’s Table which are a contemporary conversation on the historic domestic interior tableaux.

In August we are holding a solo exhibition of Annabel’s drawings. Please sign up to our newsletter to receive information of this event and other events throughout the year.
